Since 1977, Deodara has been creating furniture that is simple in form yet rich in character. Every piece is made by skilled artisans working with solid wood and blockboard, blending timeless design with a contemporary touch. Their philosophy is clear: a space should not simply be filled; it should be furnished with care, taste, and intention.
The idea behind the chessboards draws inspiration from the weaving bobbin, the mechanics of textile creation, and the modularity of combined elements. This concept shaped the pairing of two constant materials, wood (Canaletto walnut and maple) and metal (brass), with a third, unexpected element such as Murano glass, which adds a touch of lightness and transparency.
